Here’s what’s happening this week @ Reidy Creek:

Monday – Friday:

• Mini-Grant Applications
  • Mini-grant instructions and applications can be found here (scroll to the bottom of the page). 

Thursday:

• Breakfast with Dads (7:10am – 8:10am)
  • This event is for all of our Reidy Creek dad’s, grandpa’s, uncle’s, or other important figure in your student’s life.  Breakfast will be FREE for all PTA members (adult) and associated student(s).  In order to receive your free breakfast, you must present the Ticket you received when you became a PTA member (check inside the PTA membership packet you received when you signed up to become a member).  If you have your Ticket, you can immediately get in line at the cafeteria, no need to check-in at the PTA tent.  However, if you lost, misplaced, or forget your Ticket, you must check in at the PTA tent where our PTA volunteers will be able to look you up on our list but please be prepared to wait in the line.
  • If you are not a member of the PTA and would like to still participate, you are more than welcome to join us for breakfast.  In this instance, you have two options.  The first is to join the PTA in the morning of the breakfast when you arrive ($10 membership fee; check-in at the PTA tent).  This will allow you to eat and support our school through your membership.  Alternatively, if you choose not to join, you can pay for yourself and your child in the cafeteria.  Please make sure to bring cash to facilitate this process.
  • This is a school wide event so please plan on coming early.  The blacktop off the main playground will be open for overflow parking.  However, you may also want to consider parking outside of the school and walking in.  We respectfully ask that you do not park along the curbs or in spots designated “No Parking” and/or areas not meant to be parking areas.

• Friday:

  • Family Day at Lunch – 1st Grade Only
    • This is a school led event (not PTA).  Beginning at 12:10pm come join your first grader at Reidy Creek and meet your family liaison.  Enjoy your lunch in the courtyard; feel free to bring blankets and chairs.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Family Liaison, Susie Urrtia at (760) 739-5800 ext. 34021 or surrutia@eusd.org. You can also contact your child’s teacher.  

A note from the PTA:

A BIG Thank You to everyone who participated in the APEX Fun Run and Health & Safety Fair last week.  It was a great success!  We expect to be able to give you an update as to how much money the PTA raised at our next General PTA Meeting on October 16, 2018.  If you pledged, please be sure to check your email and either pay online or send in a check, made payable to “Reidy Creek PTA”.  Please check our our PTA Facebook page for pictures as well as links to all of the groups that joined our students for the Health & Safety Fair.
