A note from the PTA:

PTA is the nation’s largest volunteer-led child-advocacy association working to drive improvements in the education, health and well-being of all children and families.  Locally, Reidy Creek PTA is a Unit under the California State PTA.  The mission of the State PTA is to positively impact the lives of all children and families.  Their wide-ranging advocacy efforts and impacts include community concerns, education, family engagement and health, all of which impact the current and future success of California kids ~ and our state as a whole. One way that this is done is through legislative acts ~ helping to put laws into place.  Right now, the State PTA is sponsoring Assembly Bill 2878 by Assembly member Rocky Chávez (San Diego).  This Bill focuses on Family Engagement and the State PTA needs YOUR help to ensure Governor Brown signs the Bill into action.  Click here for more information ~ your help is as easy as hitting send on an email to Governor Brown.
