Do you like knowing about the events that are happening throughout the year? Do you like coordinating events? Do you enjoy working with other people? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may be perfect to become the PTA Vice President of Programs.
What does the VP of Programs do?
This person helps recruit volunteers to create a committee for each of the planned programs throughout the year. Examples of programs include:
- Father-Daughter Dance
- Family Nights
- Mother-Son Event.
This person also oversees these committees during the planning and implementation process.
The VP of Programs is a member of the Executive Board and needs to attend the once a month Executive Board meetings and Association meetings. Approximately 4 to 5 hours per month which includes the time attending meetings.
