The Apex Fun run event happens on Thursday, September 29 from 8:30 am – 11:30 am, and you are invited to join us! While you are here, you can check out the Health & Safety fair with the kids.

The Health and Safety Fair allows local organizations to join our students on campus the day of the event to promote healthy eating, physical activity, and community safety. This year’s event will include discussions, demonstrations, and meet and greet from six local groups.

Here is a sneak peek at the organizations that will be visiting this year:

The San Diego Sockers

sockers

Our first group is…the San Diego Sockers! We are so excited for them to join our students and get kids pumped up about soccer and physical activity. Have you ever been to a game? They are full of energy and family friendly. Get there early and tailgate in the parking lot (enjoy your own snack and games). Check out the Sockers upcoming schedule of events…we are listed on their Commuity tab. Visit their website.

MMA SoCal

mmaOur next wonderful group taking time to join our Reidy Creek Coyotes during the Apex Fun Run and Health and Safety Fair on Sept. 29th is…East West MMA SoCal

We are so happy that they will be joining us once again this year. During the event, they will teach our students a few self-defense breakaways they can use if a stranger were to try to grab them. They will also talk about bullies and how to deal with certain situations.

East West MMA SoCal is a great organization! Check out their website or Facebook page for more information.
